El Chalten & El Calafate

First time: Brief cross over to Iguazu Falls (Argentina side), 1USD = 9ARS. Second time: Ushuaia. 1USD = 15 ARS. This time: Trekking in El Chalten and Perito Moreno Glacier in El Calafate. 1USD = 65 ARS. The first time, I flew from Lima to Iguazu by LAN (LAN merged with TAM to form LATAM a few years after). The second time, I took Qatar Airways from Singapore to Doha, then flew to Sao Paolo for a brief layover (passengers remained on plane) before flying to Buenos Aires on the same plane, and took Aerolinas Argentina to Ushuaia the next day. 301. 302. 303. 304. 305. 306. 307. 308. 309. 310. 311. The flight from El Calafate to Buenos Aires arrived 30 minutes earlier than expected. I took the more expensive remis to reach my apartment in Recoleta. On hindsight I should take the normal taxi, much cheaper. The security guard of the apartment asked me to come in while I waited for the host. The apartment was quite nice, and use similar key to the one in El Calafate hostel. The lift to the apartment was old fashion, similar to those used in Europe. The host exchanged peso with me at my request, and the rate is 1USD = 70 ARS, the best I had so far.
